Cost £95 per person (includes certificate fee payable to Paddle UK)
Maximum : 8 participants (the course will run on minimum of 4 candidates)
Minimum age - Open to all ages (SCC recommends 14 and above)
Prerequisites - Participants need to either hold the Paddle Explore Award or equivalent ability, due to the paddling environment and the craft control required to complete the course.
The Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course aims to provide paddlers with the key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely and to be able to deal with common problems in a sheltered water environment. The course is designed for all paddlers irrespective of their chosen craft. It is also the prerequisite for the Paddle UK Paddlesport Instructor Award.

1 day SUP Continuation Skills Course
1-day continuation course on kayaks
A 2-day course for those paddlers who have their Discover Award (on SUP) and want to improve their SUP Skills. This course is for paddlers who can predominantly paddle standing up with the ability to perform C & J strokes.
Cost £90 per person for this 2-day course, 4 hour session per day. Maximum 7 paddlers for the course.
Requirements: Minimum age : 18 years old. The course requires 3 participants in order to go ahead.
Clothing - would advise wetsuit, but if weather is warm you can wear shorts and t-shirt, old trainers or swim shoes - Seapoint provides cagoules, buoyancy aids and SUP's. Bring your own wetsuit.
Please note that because of the nature of the sport expect to get wet! Very wet!

Cost: £65 (£60 for members)
Min 3 and Max 6 paddlers
You will need your own craft, paddle and buoyancy aid along with UK Paddle membership for the river licence.
Helmets must be worn on moving water sections.
Own wet suits are required (we do not supply these). Please bring a bottle of water with you.
SUP course for beginners, 2-day course
Kayak club for all levels, for juniors aged 8-14
A 2-day course held over 2 Sundays. This course is suitable for beginner paddlers or those with very little experience and not much formal instruction.
This course is for those wanting to achieve their Discover Award
2 days, 10am-5pm each day.
Certificate fee is additional £6, paid at the centre, should you pass the assessment.
