Seapoint Canoe Centre is heading to the Allgaü region of Bavaria!
Seapoint Alpine Venture 2022 (SAV22 for short) is the Seapoint Canoe Centre’s Introduction to Alpine White Water Paddling Expedition. SAV22 will run over the period 8 – 16 Jul 2022 to the Allgaü region of Bavaria and is a moderate water alpine paddling opportunity geared towards beginner-intermediate white water paddlers in kayaks, sit on tops or open canoes with coaching/leading, kit and travel supplied.
Starting with basic white water safety and rescue training and then moving onto an introduction to moving water techniques this expedition is perfect for those wanting to get into white water paddling. The aim of the expedition is to have maximum fun in the alpine paddling environment giving paddlers the opportunity to challenge themselves when they want to and complete the British Canoeing White Water or Explore Personal Performance Awards along the way if they wish to. Cost: £650 per person, to book a place please make payment of £150 deposit now and the balance of £500 by 8 weeks before departure. The cost includes: return travel by minibus, coaching, kayak equipment. It does not include accommodation, food and travel insurance plus any other expenses relating to the trip.
