An instructor led social day trip through Cambridge to take in this wonderful city from the water . From the start point we paddle along the River Cam to see the world class rowing clubs. Then after a lock portage at Jesus Green we follow the river through the centre of Cambridge, under the Bridge of Sighs and the Mathematical Bridge and through some of the university colleges with their stunning architecture. Heading out of town we'll shortly arrive at our turnaround stop at Lammas Land for lunch where there is a cafe and toilets. The return trip gives ample opportunity to see the sites again and take those selfies you missed.
You will need your own paddlecraft, paddle and buoyancy aid along with Paddle UK membership for the river licence.
Own wet suits are required (we do not supply these). Please bring water with you and budget for lunch.
