For paddlers aged 8 - 13

Cost: Members £10 | Non members £12.50 | Annual Junior Membership £25

Saturday morning junior kayak sessions are a relaxed environment to learn and develop paddlesport skills. Depending on the number of beginners and intermediates, we may split the group where possible. The experienced instructors will decide on the day and provide on-water games, providing a fun environment.

Assessment for paddlesport awards Explore and Discover can be arrange for those who wish to and have reached the required skill level.

Advance booking is essential.

KIDS SUMMER PROGRAMME:

3 sessions taking place in July : Monday 27 July, Tuesday 28 July and Friday 31 July (not Weds & Thurs)

4 sessions taking place in August: Monday 24 August, Tuesday 25 August, Wednesday 26 August and Friday 28 August (not Thursday)

5 day SUP Course 24-28 August for 10-14 year olds, a beginner course. 10am-12.30pm. Cost: £99

Parent and child Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) sessions on Friday afternoons in August for ages 4-10 and 10-14

We run group canoe and kayak sessions, for paddlers aged 8-14 with qualified instructors. All abilities are welcome.

Primarily the sessions take place in bellboats, kayaks or mega SUP.

  • Sessions take place on The Royal Military Canal located between Hythe and Seabrook.

  • Social distancing will be observed at all times.

  • Arrive by 9:45 to get kitted out and then we’ll try to get out on the water as close to 10am as we can.

  • Seapoint Canoe centre provides the paddlecraft, a cagoule, life vest and helmet.

Note: Our Centre is located on Prince’s Parade, and is in view of the seafront. If driving from Folkestone, turn left onto Prince’s Parade and Seapoint will be the second turning on your right, the car park is signposted. There is pay and display parking in the carpark adjacent to the centre, metred parking is also available on Prince’s Parade.
