A wonderful instructor led trip starting in the centre of Bath. Paddling through Sydney Gardens and Georgian Tunnels we head out of town along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Narrow boats line the way along this picturesque tranquil waterway, keeping our eyes peeled for the one that's now a coffee shop? As the canal winds its way along the side of the valley it loops near a meander of the River Avon. A hop across here and after a packed lunch we follow the natural course of the river back into Bath City centre paddling under the famous Pultney Bridge. From here we see some of the fantastic architecture from the Georgian Colonnades to the early Renaissance Abbey and of course Bath's famous horseshoe weir. From here it's a short paddle back to the start of our 11 mile loop.

You will need your own paddlecraft, paddle and buoyancy aid along with Paddle UK membership for the river licence.

Own wet suits are required (we do not supply these). Please bring your own water and a packed lunch.
